Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining an up-to-date sectoral economic database
- Creating projection models and macroeconomic and sectoral outlooks
- Conducting sectoral economic analysis and assessments
- Preparing PESTEL analysis and Porter’s Five Forces analysis
- Compiling and monitoring daily and weekly sectoral news
- Preparing presentation materials related to sectoral economics
- Other tasks related to the role of a Sectoral Economic Analyst
Requirements
- Min. Bachelor Degree in Economics/Development Economics/Statistics/Mathematics Graduate from reputable university preferable (Min. GPA 3.00)
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of macroeconomics
- Has experience and ability in conducting analysis and assessment of sectoral economic conditions, capital markets, as well as macro and microeconomics
- Proficient in operating data source platforms, such as Bloomberg Terminal or similar
- Skilled in economic modeling and using econometric or other statistical analysis tools
- Excellent in English both verbal & written
- Has experience in publishing writings, whether in journals, working papers, mass media, or other platforms (a plus).
- Possesses a good understanding of the capital market and debt securities market (a plus).
