Job Description

• Support data migration, validation, cleaning, and standardization during the transition from Excel-based systems to a PostgreSQL database.
• Assist in reformatting and preparing data for integration into the TraceSYS platform.
• Perform data quality checks (QC) on datasets and mapping algorithms to improve data accuracy.
• Evaluate and standardize address, coordinate, and supply base mapping data.
• Support other data management and analytics activities related to the Traceability & NDPE Verification team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Final-year student (no classes) or fresh graduate in GIS, Geomatics, Geodesy, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other related fields.
• Hands-on experience with Python for data processing.
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Experience with geospatial data processing (ArcGIS/QGIS/GeoPandas/Google Earth Engine or similar) is highly preferred.
• Experience in data cleaning, validation, QC, and data migration is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, formulas, data cleaning).
• Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with large datasets.
• Available for a full-time onsite internship for 6 months.
